Raspberry Pi 4 and 5

PinToMind on a Raspberry Pi

Write PinToMind OS to an SD card with the PinToMind Imager. It sets up Wi-Fi and rotation for you, so the screen comes up ready to pair.

PinToMind Imager

Writes the image to an SD card, checks it and adds your Wi-Fi settings. Recommended.

The Imager has not been published yet.

How to set up a screen

  1. Download and open the PinToMind Imager.
  2. Choose PinToMind OS, your SD card and your Wi-Fi. The Imager downloads and checks the image.
  3. Put the card in the Raspberry Pi and turn it on. Pair the screen with the code it shows.

Checksums

Every file has a .sha256 file next to it, and SHA256SUMS lists them all. Check a download with:

sha256sum -c --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS

APT repository

Screens update the player from here. To add it to a Raspberry Pi running PinToMind OS by hand:

sudo install -d /etc/apt/keyrings
sudo curl -fsSLo /etc/apt/keyrings/pintomind.gpg https://download.pintomind.com/apt/pintomind-archive.gpg
echo "deb [arch=arm64 signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/pintomind.gpg] https://download.pintomind.com/apt stable main" \
  | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pintomind.list
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pintomind-player

Suites: stable for every screen, testing for screens in test mode. Each lists the 10 newest versions.
